We've all heard the old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words. Maybe you are wondering if that statement still stands true in our fast-paced, social media driven world. Not convinced? Social media statistics report that tweets with images receive 150% more retweets than those without images; Facebook posts with images see 2.3 times more engagement that those without images; and in an analysis of over one million articles, BuzzSumo found that articles with an image every 75-100 words received double the social media shares as articles with fewer images.
