Success is yours for the taking - all you have to do is create it in your life each day. Sounds simple, right? When we wake up in the morning, we have a choice on how we will conduct our day, how we will feel about the day and how we will react to the day. We can choose to be productive or lazy. We can choose to get upset about things that happen during the day, or decide to turn the upsetting into something that motivates us to make changes. We have a choice if we are going to be happy or not.
Here are some keys to creating a successful day:
Choose gratitude: Make it a habit to write down at least 3 things that you are grateful for each day. Creating this daily habit will ensure you stay positive and upbeat and allow you to see the good in each day, even if it's a tough day.
Prioritize: Create a daily To Do List and prioritize your tasks according to high, medium and low priority tasks. Work on the most important items first and don't worry about the lower priority tasks until you have completed your high priority tasks.
Celebrate your wins and study ways to improve: At the end of each day, write down three good things that happened during the day and three things that you can do better tomorrow.
