In my eyes, Trello, the project management application, is absolutely amazing and a must-have for any business owner. It's a powerful way to store important client data and your task lists for each client. You can also share information with your clients and team so that you can work together, even if you are across the country from each other. With Trello, everyone is on the same page and knows the progress of others on the team. You can even share documents, images and ideas on Trello. Plus, Tello sends you reminders when a task will be due soon. I call Trello my To-Do-List on steroids!
Trello consists of boards that you create for each project or area in your life. You can see my boards in the screenshot above. I've masked out my client names for their privacy. As you can see, you can add beautiful images to the background of each board to better help you visually find what you're looking on my Trello home page. On those boards, you can put lists of tasks or items associated with the project.
Let's take a look under the hood of one of my boards. Here is what a board looks like with several lists on the board. On each list, you create a set of cards that hold important, specific information for that task.
Below is what a card looks like. There are several actions you can do with your Trello cards. These actions can be found on the right-hand-side of the card.
There is so much that Trello can do and I simply cannot recommend it enough. To schedule your personal or team Trello Training class with me, call 303-953-1079 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
